MLK Shoreline (Oakland): Come participate in Coastal Cleanup Day with Save the Bay! Wetlands are our region’s superheroes. They improve our Bay’s water quality, provide areas for recreation and wildlife habitat, and protect our communities from flooding. Unfortunately, wetland buffers between land and sea also capture pollution that travels from our cities down storm drains and out into the Bay. Come show your appreciation for these shoreline superheroes by helping us to pick up trash and contribute to a cleaner, healthier Bay
