Glenmoor Elementary School, Grade 1-Mrs. Condell’s class:

On Tuesday, Nov 27th, 2012, Amita Gowda our youngest speaker, presented to her Grade 1 class on the topic “Plastic Bottle Caps and Lids” and explained how it is hurting our environment. She took questions from several students at the end of the presentation, and answered all of the questions well and was successful in raising awareness on the issues caused by plastic bottle caps and lids. The class decided to have a collection box in their classroom and planned on startng a plastic caps collection drive.
